The plate is 16:5 and its right half was empty ground while the lockup stacked above a two-line title and pushed the lede down the card. The mark sits on the far side of the headline now, at the size that space deserves. The fit check was reading .stage, which is `height: 100%` and therefore always reported the plate's own height; it measures the first and last block instead, which is how the hero turns out to have been carrying 94px of empty ground under it.
