createWithCost and updateWithCost run the booking and its cost in one transaction, but the cost sync still caught and logged its own errors inside it. A price that could not be written therefore committed the booking edit and left the linked expense on its old figure; only the category re-file path actually rolled back. The sync no longer swallows a failing cost write. Both WithCost methods are its only callers, so the error now reaches their transaction and the booking and its cost commit or fail together. A booking import item whose cost cannot be written is skipped like any other failing item instead of landing without its cost.
