It sat in a glass panel of its own with nothing else in it, which read as a card that had lost its contents. It is the plate's heading now, on the ground at the plate's own margin, the way the eyebrows sit elsewhere. The winning row drops "alternating"; the bar beside it already says what the two sources add up to.
