A prepared change to a city walk took a station out or put one in without touching the shaping points around it. The way after the change was then routed through points steering legs that no longer exist, so the walking effects showed a detour that is not real, and the points handed on for a save could start or end on a shaping point. - A shaping point belongs to the leg it steers. Removing, replacing or moving a station drops the shaping points of its legs in and out, and a stop put after a station drops those of the leg it splits. Shaping points of other legs stay. The answer names every dropped one in data_gaps (shaping_dropped), and the walk always starts and ends on a station. - The closing leg of a loop counts as the leg into its first station. A closing leg drawn by hand now refuses a change to the first station and a stop after the last one, instead of quietly moving the end of a leg drawn in the planner. The hand-drawn check also covers every sub-leg between two stations, not only the one next to the station. - for_later leaves out a new station already linked to a place of the trip, so following it no longer creates a second copy of that place.
