The photo picker's Select all took only the pages already loaded, 50 at a
time, and replaced whatever had been picked on another tab. It now loads
the rest of a day, trip or date-range search before selecting (cancelled
by closing the picker or switching tab), adds to earlier picks, and
Deselect all only clears what is in view. Add stays disabled until that
loading is done. The whole-library tab keeps selecting what is loaded and
shows the count as "N+".
A date-filtered Immich search stopped at 1,000 photos without a word,
because its page budget was absolute; it is now relative to the page
asked for, with an absolute ceiling of 270 raw pages sized so the
picker's deepest page still gets a full answer. Adds go out in batches of
500 ids, under the JSON body limit, and each batch is sent oldest first,
so photos land in an entry in the order they were taken. When a later
batch fails, the photos already saved are counted and the journey
reloads while the error still shows, through one hook for desktop and
phone.
After a provider add, the capture-time lookup runs at most four at a time
per user, shared by all of that user's batches. When it fills a row, a
journey:photos:updated event reloads open journeys once per batch, from
the REST routes and the MCP add tool alike. Device uploads, which arrive
one file per request, get the same lookup without the event.
Addresses discussion #1587.
Three things Sonar was right about. The content panel had grown a filter, a
menu and an upload into one function of thirty-two branches: the filtering
is four pure rules in photoFilter.ts, the row that drives it is its own
component, and what is left in the panel is the grid and the drop zone. The
gallery rows behind an entry upload move out of the store's setter into a
named function, since five levels of nesting is a place bugs hide. And the
ids for placed elements come from getRandomValues rather than Math.random,
in one module instead of four copies of the same line: two editors minting
the same id for two elements is one of them losing their work.
The new paths carry tests now, which is what the gate was really asking
for: the filter's rules, the ids, the upload helper, the store's derived
gallery rows, the canvas file drop, and the shell's upload, drop and stop
switch.
* fix(journey): make sort_order authoritative for within-day entry ordering
Reorder buttons appeared broken because the server ORDER BY put entry_time
before sort_order, so entries synced from trip places with differing times
would always sort by time regardless of sort_order writes. The client store
mirrored the same comparator, making even the optimistic update invisible.
- Change ORDER BY to (entry_date, sort_order, id) in getJourneyFull and listEntries
- Fix syncTripPlaces and onPlaceCreated to assign MAX+1 sort_order per day instead of day_number/0
- Update client store comparator to match
- Add DB migration to backfill sort_order using old effective key (entry_time, id) so existing journeys retain their visual order
- Add tests: JOURNEY-SVC-089–093, FE-STORE-JOURNEY-018–019
Closes#846
* fix(pdf): include multi-day transport return/arrival in PDF itinerary (#847)
Reservations were matched to days by pickup date only, so the end-day
card (e.g. car Return, flight Arrival) was silently dropped from the PDF.
Add span-aware helpers mirroring DayPlanSidebar logic: match by day_id/end_day_id
span, show reservation_end_time on end days, prefix title with phase label
(Return/Arrival/etc.), and use per-day position for sort order.
* test(pdf): add missing day_id to transport reservation fixture
loadJourney previously set loading=true unconditionally, causing the
JourneyDetailPage guard (if loading || !current) to unmount the entire
page tree on every background refetch — entry saves, settings saves,
trip link/unlink, contributor invite, delete, and WS realtime events
all triggered the full-page spinner flash.
Now loading is only toggled on cold loads (current?.id !== id).
Warm refreshes replace current silently so the hero, sidebar, map,
and timeline stay mounted throughout. Closes#673.
jsdom replaces globalThis.AbortController with its own implementation;
Node.js undici-based fetch validates signals via instanceof against the
native AbortSignal, causing fetch to throw before MSW could intercept.
Fix via custom Vitest environment (tests/environment/jsdom-native-abort.ts)
that captures native AbortController/AbortSignal before jsdom patches them
and restores them after jsdom setup.
Also updates JournalBody test 004 to match component behaviour (headings
rendered as <p>) and removes debug console.log statements.
